W&G Names New Partner

WASHINGTON, D.C.

Wiltshire and Grannis LLP ("W&G") is pleased to announce that Mark Davis has been elected as partner in the firm.  Mr. Davis was previously an associate at W&G.

"Mark is a lawyer of impressive abilities who is 100% dedicated to getting the best possible results for our clients," said Managing Partner Mark Grannis.  "We’ve always been fortunate to have him as a colleague, and now we’re delighted to welcome him as a partner."

Mark Davis’s practice includes a wide variety of both litigation and telecommunications matters.  As a litigator, he is regularly involved in matters before the Supreme Court and federal courts of appeals.  Mr. Davis’s telecommunications practice involves representation of wireline and wireless clients both in the federal courts and before the Federal Communications Commission.

Mr. Davis graduated summa cum laude from Princeton University with an A.B. in Politics and a Certificate in Political Theory.  He graduated cum laude from the University of Chicago Law School.  Following law school, Mr. Davis clerked for Hon. Diane S. Sykes of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit and Chief Judge Mark L. Wolf of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.  Before joining the firm, he was a federal prosecutor with the U.S. Department of Justice, Antitrust Division, where he investigated and prosecuted white-collar criminal antitrust and fraud cases.
